The Mouska bag is named after the Pashto word “مسکا,” meaning “smile.” An RAI artisan from Afghanistan suggested the name, inspired by the bag’s gentle curve. More than its shape, Mouska reflects RAI’s spirit: hope, resilience, and a place where refugee and immigrant women grow through skill-building and community.
